I. Background and Conditions of Construction Project

Yantai Yihua Autoglass Co., Ltd is a Sino-US joint venture of Yantai Yaohua Autoglass Co., Ltd and American company, with Chinese investment occupying 75% and foreign investment occupying 25%. The company is located in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shandong and its traffic is fairly convenient.

The company covers 65000 square meters including 50000 square meters construction area with total investment 25 million Yuan. Currently the new factory is finished (including 6000 square meters factory and 2000 square meters office building), the machinery is equipped and on trial production. The net asset is 30 million Yuan with sales revenue 20million Yuan and the profit after taxation 3million Yuan. We mainly produce kinds of high quality front, side and rear windshield. The company introduced whole set of TAMGLASS laminated windshield production line and monitoring instruments, and own some large scale bending furnaces and tempering equipments (mainly including large scale bending furnaces ESU 1223-1/3-14and tempering equipment HTBS-4124-3.2E-L+2400-3.8A & CBTS-3.2E-R), with the production capacity 300 thousand sets autoglass per year. We use fine quality float glass from French SAINT GOBAIN joint venture in China and PVB film from Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd (Japan) as material, our products have features of stable quality, reliable performance and safety of shock resistance and breakage.

All the indexes of the products reach advanced international standards. Currently we have got European ECE-R43, American DOT, Chinese standard GB9656-2003 and ISO9001-2000 certificate, at the same time we are preparing 16949 certificate. Now our products are mainly exported to Canada, America, Australia, Portugal, Ghana, Algeria, Hungary and other countries or regions. Meanwhile our company actively negotiates with GM in China, JAC, and the Great Wall Motor Company about the OEM matters.
